Outdoor Event, Fri 19 - Mon 22 Sep 2014
South Bay Beach,
Our beaches need you!
Join the Marine Conservation Society for the Great British Beach Clean and help clean a beach. Marine litter is a problem that we can all play a part in solving, and what better way to start than with a day at the beach.
The British seaside was free of litter a few generations ago.
Our throw-away society means that today it's a dumping ground for all sorts of disgusting rubbish.
Clean beaches could save the lives of some of our best-loved marine wildlife.
Clean beaches will protect our kids when they are building sand castles.
Clean beaches will show the world what's really great about the British seaside.
Join 10,000 people between 19th - 22nd September for the Great British Beach Clean.
Please join us and let's get the seaside back to it's litter free glory days.
To register as a volunteer please go to website.
