Details

East Farm Country Cottages are set in delightful countryside within the National Park, about 1 mile away from the prestigious village of Scalby and only a 5 minute drive away from Scarborough, with it's sandy beaches and many attractions.

Our cottages are single storey and sleep up to 4 people in a double and twin bedroom. Cots provided on request. All cottages are non-smoking, we accept pets in 2 of our cottages by prior arrangement and cottage 3 is strictly pet free.

The village of Scalby is about a 20 minute walk away which has 3 pubs, a restaurant/cafe, newsagents and general food store, it also has a beautiful church dating from 1180. The cottages are on a bridal-way with many footpaths to explore and are an ideal base to discover the Yorkshire Coast and Moors either by car or on foot. There is a shared garden to the western end of the cottages with beautiful views over the valley and woods beyond.

    “Lovely cosy cottage”

Very friendly welcome from owner on arrival. the cottage was clean and tidy and had a cosy feel with plenty of heating and hot water etc. It was a bit on the compact side (but we were expecting that due to price), and as we only went for a short break that was fine . If you wanted to go for a couple of weeks or something you would need to think about how much space you need to be comfortable.
