This self-catering property is situated on the edge of the historic Wolds village of Hunmanby, near Filey, North Yorkshire.
The cottage dates back to 1694, is built from chalk and features many exposed beams. It has been tastefully furnished and decorated to provide comfortable holiday accommodation sleeping two people for short breaks or full weeks. Close by are shops, pubs and restaurants and a nine hole pay and play golf course and gym.
Batworth Cottage is just 2 miles from Yorkshire's Heritage Coast and only 30 minutes away from the North Yorkshire Moors, all these beautiful attractions can be easily accessed by car or public transport.
Children are welcome, there are steep winding steps that may be difficult for young children.

5 pubs all serving food in the village. Also restaurant, coffee shop, fish & chip shop and cafe, chinese takeaway, kebab/pizza takeaway, 9 hole golf course and gymnasium in the village. Children welcome from any age.

By Car:
From North or South. Approach from York on A64, turning right onto A1039 at Staxton. Follow A1039 through Flixton and Folkton, then turn right onto White Gate Hill, signposted Hunmanby. Proceed into Hunmanby on Malton Road, pass over 1 mini roundabout onto Castle Hill, take first left turn onto Stonegate, then immediately left onto Northgate. 17 Northgate is on the left after 200 metres.

From Scarborough. Proceed on the A165 and take first signpost for Hunmanby turning right. Take next turn on right onto Filey Road which leads into Stonegate. Turn right onto Northgate after approx 800 metres. 17 Northgate is on the left after 200 metres.

From Bridlington. Proceed on the A165 and take the first signpost for Hunmanby turning left onto Bridlington Road. Proceed into the village and pass the church on the right before turning right onto Stonegate. Take 1st left onto Northgate. 17 Northgate is on the left after 200 metres.
