The Spa at Raithwaite Hall offers 4 treatments rooms, swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and relaxation room. All guests are welcome in the spa area with specific times available for children to use the facilities. Booking for spa treatments is recommended to avoid disappointment. Our main restaurant is open to residents and non residents for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving superb locally sourced produce. Al fresco dining on our beautiful terrace overlooking our landscaped gardens and stream is available during the warmer months of the year. Full afternoon tea is also served daily with booking again recommended to avoid disappointment. If you are looking for a more casual dining experience or somewhere to enjoy a drink and a chat 'Stokers Bar' is the most welcoming of venues located within the main Hall. It offers a great selection of beverages but also a more relaxed casual menu. Children welcome from age 2.

By road:

From the North: Leave the A19 just after the Tees Viaduct onto the A174 sign posted Whitby. Continue following signs to Whitby until you join the A171. Follow the A171 for approx. 17 miles before turning left towards Sandsend on the B1266. Continue through Sandsend Village towards Whitby and Raithwaite Hall is located on the right hand side on the cliffs above Sandsend just before Whitby Golf Club.

From the West From the A1 (M) take the A64 towards York and Scarborough. Leave the A64 onto the A169 at Pickering following signs to Whitby for approx. 18 miles. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A171 Signposted Whitby. At Four Lane Ends roundabout take the 1st exit onto Stakesby Road sign posted Saltburn. At the t-junction bear right onto Castle Road sign posted Sandsend. Follow signs to Sandsend joining the A174. Pass Whitby Golf Club on your right and the entrance to the Raithwaite Estate is on your left.From ScarboroughLeave Scarborough on the A171 to Whitby. On entering Whitby follow signs towards Sandsend. After passing Whitby Golf Club on your right the entrance to the Raithwaite Estate is on your left.

By public transport:
