A character Grade II listed Georgian large cottage of great charm, located in Ruswarp, just over a mile from Whitby.

Recently restored whilst retaining the old world atmosphere, Esk View is a lovely holiday home with lots of space.

The spacious accommodation has 5 bedrooms, of which 4 are with ensuite, and 3 offering flat screen TV's. The final room is a dedicated childrens bunk and playroom.

The huge beamed farmhouse kitchen has all modern built in units including dishwasher, fridge, small appliances and flat TV. Adjoining is a large laundry with drying rails, washing machine and freezer. Adjoining cloakroom and luggage store. The beamed lounge has large sunny Georgian windows, super comfy suites and a living flame gas fire, and 32ins TV. Outside there is a secure gated patio, garden furniture, gas BBQ, and a summer house to have a glass of wine in on a lazy summer evening.

Esk View is a lovely cottage for a family gatherings, with room for group activity or intimate private space when required. Broadband Wifi is supplied free and so are all bed linen and towels and some little extras.

The village has a local pub serving meals, boating on the river and a riverside café and wine bar. For the children there is a big indoor/outdoor all weather entertainment centre and miniature railway.

By Road:
From Ruswarp Bank, through the narrow road (High St) take a right turn before the pub and river bridge. This is 'The Carrs' B1410. Esk View cottage is first cottage on the right.

By Public Transport:
From Whitby bus or rail station, proceed up Bagdale to first mini roundabout. Bear left up Prospect Hill to traffic lights. Turn right up Mayfield Road to roundabout. Left turn out of roundabout to Ruswarp and River Esk. Down steep hill, through village narrow road and first turn right. Esk View is first large cottage on right.
