Situated in a quiet leafy lane in the coastal village of Reighton on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, you can take a short walk or drive to the 5 mile of golden sandy beach that leads to the traditional seaside town of Filey.

Stroma is ideally located to explore the heritage coast and North Yorkshire Moors as well as offering superb opportunities for bird watching at Bempton RSPB sanctuary.

Regular boat trips from the coastal town of Bridlington take you to the cliffs so you can see puffins and Gannets in their natural habitats.

Take a short drive north to the spa town of Scarborough, explore the medieval castle, visit the Sealife centre or take a trip to the theatre. Further north is the quaint smuggling village of Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby, which is renowned for its connections with Captain Cook and Count Dracula.

Travel inland to Goathland which is Heartbeat country and take the Hogwarts express train to Pickering with breathtaking views of both moors and dales. Visit the majestic Castle Howard, Flamingo land theme park and zoo or have a day out in the wonderful city of York.

The cottage has a spacious lounge and dining area featuring a local stone built fire place with electric fire, 32" flat-screen television with Freeview and DVD. There is a fully fitted kitchen with beamed ceiling and garden view. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer and microwave.

The cottage sleeps 5 with 2 doubles and 1 single, cot available. Fully fitted bathroom with shower fitting over bath and wc.

By Road:
From A64 York at Staxton roundabout take 2nd exit for Filey, go through village of Muston, turn right onto A165 and head for Reighton, turn left at Sands lane roundabout. In Reighton village turn right and immediately left into Cowton lane (Behind the telephone box).
From A165 north turn left at Sands lane roundabout and head for Reighton (as above).
From A165 South at the Dotterel roundabout, take the 3rd exit. Reighton is about ½ mile ahead. Go down the big hill and left and left again into Cowton Lane.
