Sneaton lies on the south side of the Lower Esk Valley, within the North York Moors National Park, well known for its attractive scenery and walks. This rural village has Beacon Farm, famous for its ice cream parlour and The Wilson Arms. The heritage coastline is nearby with villages such as Robin Hoods Bay and Sandsend having popular beaches. The historic old fishing port of Whitby, lying 3 miles to the north, boasts an excellent selection of restaurants, shops, a marina and a golf course.

From Whitby head south out of town through Ruswarp on the B1416. Sneaton lies around 3 miles from Whitby town centre and you will find Sneaton Hall on your left hand side as you enter the village.
By Public Transport:
Taxi from Whitby town centre or railway stations in both Ruswarp and Sleights Village.
Arriva bus No. 95 takes you from Whitby as far as Ruswarp, which is approximately 1 mile from Sneaton.
