This terraced cottage,sleeping up to 6 people, is situated in the high street of the village of Hinderwell, 9 miles North of Whitby.

Accommodation is over three floors, downstairs there is a lounge with solid fuel stove, two leather Chesterfield sofas and wing back chair, coffee tables, TV with digital channels and DVD player.

Separate dining room with French doors opening to enclosed patio with furniture. Original cast iron range, large dining table with 6 chairs. A modern well-equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and microwave etc.

The first floor has a large double bedroom with built in wardrobe, dressing table, cast iron fireplace, black cast iron and brass bedstead with memory foam mattress and small TV.

Bathroom with shower over the bath, vanity basin, toilet, heated towel rail and shaving point. A separate toilet is also available on this landing.

The second floor has a bedroom with a double bed, memory foam mattress, wardrobe, chest of draws and beamed ceilings. The third bedroom also has beamed ceilings, twin beds with memory foam mattresses, wardrobe and chest of draws, TV and video.

All rooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. All bed linen and tea towels are provided. Bath towels are available to hire.
The property is fully double glazed and has gas central heating.
A high chair, travel cot and stair gate are provided. Non-smokers only.
A welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and homemade jam is provided for all guests.

The front of the property has a small, enclosed forecourt garden and there is free unrestricted parking on either side of the high street.

Hinderwell is a small village with 2 pubs, bistro, deli, post office /shop, butchers, doctors surgery, village hall with tennis courts available to hire, etc. There is a larger Co-Op in Staithes. The sandy beach of Runswick Bay is situated just one mile away, and you can join the Cleveland Way here and walk to Sandsend or Staithes.

Hinderwell is on the main Middlesbrough to Whitby bus route, and buses run every hour

From Whitby take the A174 heading North for Saltburn for 9 miles. This road brings you to Hinderwell, Hawthorne cottage is on your left just past the post office.
