The Kensington "where nothing is too much trouble". Both holiday makers and business travellers alike will be assured a warm welcome.
We like to think that the main appeal to this kind of accomodation is the homely feel, so you can relax and take in the hospitable atmosphere and don’t be afraid to ask if there is anything you need to make your stay with us even more enjoyable.
We offer excellent home-cooked food with a very varied breakfast menu ( Eggs Benedict, Devilled Kidneys, Pancakes and more).
We endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible and we make Food Hygine and Cleanliness our top priority.
The guest house is superbly situated on the North Bay close to Peasholm Park, the town centre and the Stephen Joseph Theatre. For your convenience, we have internet access and BSL level 2 used for any guests who are deaf and use this as their form of communication,(I am very rusty so please go slow with me).
In the wider area around Scarborough, there is plenty to see and do with the North York Moors, Whitby, Filey and Bridlington all within easy reach.

By Road:
From the A64 into Scarborough follow the B1427 St. Margaret's Road. Then turn left at the lights onto Falsgrave. This will eventually take you over Valley Bridge Rd and onto Northway past the Stephen Joseph Theatre, through two sets of traffic lights and past the police station. Head over the roundabout and past St. Columbus Church on your left, then head over the second roundabout and The Kensington is on the left.
