Far from the 'Madding Crowd' just 1.5 miles to the South of Whitby lies Summerfield Farm.
With a very high specification and spectacular panoramic views across to Whitby our holiday accommodation is designed to give you a holiday experience of character and much relaxation.
The cottages are furnished with many luxuries, some antique furnishings, co-ordinating fabrics and soft furnishings. Two cottages offer exceptional disabled and less abled facilities including Wetroom / bathroom with grab rails – Downstairs bedroom – Wheelchair access
No steps from the car park to the cottage – Adjustable height bed (Hoist Access).
Open all the year round you can cuddle up by the log burning stove in winter and take in the delights of Whitby and the traditional seaside holiday in summer.
Our mobile home also available for holidays - set in its own private garden area at the farm.
The brooding North York Moors are only a short distance away. This is the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway and of course the 'Heartbeat' village of Goathland. There is so much to see and do you'll wonder how you will fit everything in.
It is a leisurely 1.5 mile walk down to Whitby Abbey. This course takes you straight into the Abbey itself. Descend the famous 199 Abbey stairs to the old part of the ancient fishing port - home of Captain Cook.
Just to the south of Summerfield, Robin Hood's bay tumbles down through winding alleyways to the sea. The coastal walk from Ravenscar beacon passes through here on its way up through Boggle Hole and on to Whitby itself.
