East Farm Country Cottages are set in delightful countryside within the National Park, about 1 mile away from the prestigious village of Scalby and only a 5 minute drive away from Scarborough, with it's sandy beaches and many attractions.
Our cottages are single storey and sleep up to 4 people in a double and twin bedroom. Cots provided on request. All cottages are non-smoking, we accept pets in 2 of our cottages by prior arrangement and cottage 3 is strictly pet free.
The village of Scalby is about a 20 minute walk away which has 3 pubs, a restaurant/cafe, newsagents and general food store, it also has a beautiful church dating from 1180. The cottages are on a bridal-way with many footpaths to explore and are an ideal base to discover the Yorkshire Coast and Moors either by car or on foot. There is a shared garden to the western end of the cottages with beautiful views over the valley and woods beyond.
All of Scarborough's leisure facilities only a 5 minutes drive away. Pets accepted in 2 of our units. Freeview and DIGI box. Non-smoking. Children welcome from any age.

By Road:
Approaching Scarborough from the south or west follow signs to Whitby (A171) this skirts to the western side of Scarborough. Travel along Scalby Road, passing hospital. After about 2 miles there are traffic lights outside Proudfoots supermarket followed shortly by the Rosette pub. Turn left here along Hackness Road. Follow road round over narrow stone bridge and continue straight on for approximately 1/2 mile along Hay Lane. Just after the last house there is a right hand bend before a steep hill. Watch out for the National Park sign - turn left along the private lane. This serves about 8 other properties and is also a bridle-way so drive carefully.
