Welcome to Rowantree Farm, nestled below Ainthorpe Rigg in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, just 13 miles from Whitby on the outskirts of the village of Danby.
Our non-smoking establishment offers one family and one twin room, both of which have private facilities.
Our residents lounge has a TV/Video and a small library of books, games and videos for our younger guests.
Children of all ages are welcome, and a cot and highchair are available. Both bedrooms offer wash basins, refreshment trays, hairdryers and CD/Radio alarms.
We are within walking distance of an historic coaching inn, serving freshly prepared meals 7 days a week.
Ideal for walkers, leave your car, and start your ramble from the front door. Take the train via the Esk Valley line to Whitby, stopping off at Grosmont for the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway where you can visit Goathland, home of ITV's Heartbeat.
During the childrens summer holiday, travel by Moorsbus into the heart of the moors; visit Helmsley and Pickering with their ancient castles and bustling markets, and beautiful gardens. Rievaulx Abbey and Hutton-Le-Hole with Ryedale Folk Museum are also within easy access.
