Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park

Opened in 2008, this family-run park has been attractively designed to create a visitor attraction that appeals to people of all ages and abilities.

You can meet and feed a variety of friendly animals in their spacious paddocks - from giant rabbits to woolly alpacas, spotty pigs and miniature ponies. Watch the ducks and geese splashing in the ponds or 'talk' to the turkeys and hear them gobble back to you!

Visit the Worm-world and Mini-beast Mansion, get in touch with your senses, and dare to put your hands in the feely boxes. Learn some amazing wildlife facts at the pond, wild-flower meadow and other habitats, or take part in our treasure hunt. See how quickly you can complete the adventure trail and how far you can see from the top of the fort.

When you want to relax you can wander around the formal gardens and sit in the shady arbours or gazebo where you can watch the colourful birds. See the fish in the garden ponds, or go through the door into the Secret Garden and get great views of the wildlife pond and its inhabitants.There are plenty of seats and picnic tables around the park, or you can get sandwiches, hot and cold drinks or ice creams from the café.
