Lanterna Ristorante

Lanterna Ristorante is as stated, an Italian Restaurant, however the food we cook and serve is influenced a great deal from where I am from - the North West of Italy, therefore making the cuisine predominantly Piemontese as opposed to being just Italian.
With Italy being a fairly vast country, regionally and locally, the differences are immense.
We try to make the most of local produce from the area - namely local fresh fish. Serve simply to bring out the flavours of the food, and not mixing it with heavy sauces, which could interfere with the true taste.
Example of some dishes:
Starters: Hand made spaghetti with Velvet crab langoustines in tempura batter with cream of Balsamic vinegar.
Mains: Risotto with fresh white truffles. Roast sea Bass with fresh herbs. Halibut filets wrapped with pancetta.
Sweets: Zabaglione, Nettle Cream and Bunet.
Prices vary, see menu.
Speciality: Specialities include fresh fish, white truffles and local produce.
