By Road:
From Scarborough, head north along the A171 towards Whitby. In the village of Burniston, take a left turn into Limestone Road, then carry straight on past Lindhead School leading into Lindhead Road taking you to Harwood Dale. Continue through the village and at T Junction turn right. Go just past the Mill Inn (on the left). Parking is on the roadside in the vicinity of Chapel Farm.
Access is along a public bridleway, at the side of Chapel Farm.
