Crystal Lounge at Whitby Pavilion Complex
The glass atrium at the Pavilion, which houses the permanent café area, has stunning panoramic sea views from Sandsend Nab through due North to Whitby's east and west piers. Under new management in 2007 the catering team at Whitby Pavilion now provides top quality home-baking, hot daily specials and traditional light lunches. Comfortable and relaxing, equipped with full air conditioning the Crystal Lounge is the perfect place to unwind over lunch or a glass of wine in this fabulous seaside location. The café is open seven days a week during the summer season from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Coach parties are welcome with advanced notice and a range of special Coach Party menus are available on request.
Sundays in high summer lunchtime jazz concerts are presented free of charge in the café, which also hosts an annual exhibition of art produced by students from Whitby Community College.

By Road:
From A1(M)/M1 jct 45 take A64 east (York ring road south). Follow A169 from Malton through Pickering over the moors to A171 jct. Turn right to Whitby and follow West Cliff signs. Other routes, A171 from Middlesbrough or from Scarborough.
Access road to theatre descends from Cook Memorial at eastern end of West Cliff. Car parking (Pay and Display) on access road or West Cliff, or seafront (free).
