Britain’s premier folk festival with seven days and nights in celebration of traditional music, song and dance of the British Isles. Some of our finest musicians and singers form over 600 events including concerts, dances, singing and dancing in most of the local bars, sessions, workshops, street entertainers and a whole lot more.
The Whitby Folk Week continues to enjoy the very best in traditional music and dance, many events taking place in the Pavilion Complex with Concerts, Ceilidh’s and Social Dance events in this venue.
In and around the town over 600 events takes place in one week making this one of the country’s premier festivals.
All nestled in the pretty fishing port of Whitby with its cobbled streets filled with heritage along with fine restuarants, cafes, jet shops and a vibe not to be missed by any lover of music!
