Discover Filey at Coble LandingJoin our local volunteers on their journey to discover the hidden marine wildlife and heritage of Filey and District. With years of experience of the local environment, local history and the
seashore, our aim is to educate inform and entertain.
Our walks and talks are for families (accompanied children) . The Discover Filey project is supported by several local groups including:
The Filey Museum Filey Brigg Ornithological Group
The Filey Bay Initiative
The Filey4wards Development Trust
The Filey Brigg Research Group
Our core volunteers are CRB checked and first aid trained. Thanks to a European LEADER grant, we have a Tipi tent outdoor classroom and equipment, including microscopes
for children to use.
This year our walks and talks are free but contributions to our running costs are always welcome.
See www.discoverfiley.com for more details on the individual walks.
Free entry
Contributions are welcome towards the running costs.
