Scalby Fair at Scalby Village

Scalby Fair, one of the few remaining Village Fairs in the North of England, is a week long festival of entertainment and fun culminating in a large village street fair with over 50 stalls, music, dancing, and children specific attractions.
Scalby Fair is non-profit making and has been running for 35 years, entirely by volunteers. The aims of the Fair are to foster a community spirit, by encouraging participation in many varied activities and events, and to support local business.
The 2013 Fair will be held at its traditional time, on Saturday June 22nd. As well as the Fair day itself there will be a programme of events starting on Sunday June 16th continuing through the week up to Fair Day, and finishing with the weekend Flower Festival.
