By Road:
From the A171 between Whitby and Middlesbrough. Egton is signposted approximately 6 and a half miles inland from Whitby. Turn off is signposted Egton, Grosmont. Bear left onto High Street. At Egton continue through the village following signs for Egton Bridge.

By Public Transport:
The Middlesbrough to Whitby Esk Valley Railway runs through Egton Bridge and stops at Egton station which is only half a mile north. Also the seasonal Moors bus number 99 services this area.
